We went to Wally-World to get some food for the week, and we were almost done. It was late, 'cause we went to church last night, and I had on a pair of heeled sandals. Nice, but the toes were out. Now, normally, this isn't a problem. However, my younger son was sitting in the seat in the shopping cart, and he decided to start stacking the cans of Vienna sausages, the hot dog chili, and these really gross but totally awesome tamales I get sometimes just for fun.
I told him to quit, 'cause if he didn't, one of the cans was going to fall on my toe and hurt me. No sooner had the words come out of my mouth, than the hot dog chili can fell flat on my left big toe. Now, had the can been any bigger, it would probably have broken the toe - as it is, it just hurts really badly, even with the ibuprofen I took. Anyway - my advice? Don't go shopping with a four-year-old with a listening problem. Not a hearing problem, a listening problem. 'Cause we all know there's a difference between hearing someone and listening to them.
Ya'll have an awesome day.
